Welcome to Loose Swiss Scouts We are part of the UK Scout Association and are part of Maidstone West Scouts in the County of Kent.

Scouting helps children and young adults reach their full potential. We help young people to get jobs, save lives and even change the world.

Who are Loose Swiss?

We provide exciting and engaging experiences to young people aged 6 to 14 from Loose and the surrounding area. We offer a wide range of typical scouting activities and challenges.

The Group was first formed in 1908 and has been in continual operation ever since. Recently the group has enjoyed great success, due to the hard work and dedication of the section leaders and group exec. We are a very popular scout group with two Beaver colonies, two Cub packs and a Scout troop. This allows us to provide young people a great set of life skills as they grow, which they can use even after they have moved on to adulthood.

All of our sections are very active and partake in frequent meetings, camps, trips and experiences. We are fortunate to have a large area of land owned by the group which is used for activities all year-round.
